Confused by life insurance?

Term Assurance

This type of policy is designed to pay out a fixed sum of money if the policyholder should die during the term in which your policy runs. When choosing your policy, you should choose the amount you want paying out (the sum insured) and the length of time for which the policy is to cover (the term).

Decreasing Life Insurance
Decreasing life insurance (sometimes referred to as Mortgage protection) is a form of life insurance designed to cover a capital & interest mortgage in the event of your premature death. The sum assured payable decreases in line with your reducing mortgage debt.

Critical Illness
What happens if you get a critical illness and can no longer work or afford your monthly mortgage payments? A critical illness option is available at an extra cost. The sum assured is payable on the conclusive diagnosis of a critical illness. Details of conditions covered in most policies are listed below, but please use these as a guide only.

AIMS are regulated by the FSA for Insurance and Regulated Mortgages. The FSA do not regulate any other activity undertaken by AIMS including Unsecured Loans & Overseas Property
